Magnificent vocalist to serenade Artisan Works audiences on September 7th

Dave Mancini Productions and Artisan Works Present Jennifer Gliere

About the Performer:

Jennifer Gliere, from Cincinnati, Ohio, received her Doctorate of Musical Arts from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY in 2005.
Most recently she has been seen as the soprano soloist in Mozart’s Requiem and in Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief and The Telephone. She was given rave reviews for her portrayals of Suzel in Mascagni’s L’amico Fritz with Mercury Opera Rochester and Magda in Puccini’s La rondine with the Eastman Opera Theatre. Other Eastman Opera Theatre credits include Fiorilla in The Turk in Italy, Aurore in Le portrait de Manon, and Serpina in La serva padrona. Upcoming performances include appearances with the Artisan Works Concert Series and the Genesee Valley Symphony Orchestra.

Equally at home on the concert and operatic stages, Gliere has been
described as having a tone admirably suited for song recitals. She
has appeared in recital and oratorio throughout New York State and the
Midwest. She has given two recital tours in Mexico, performing in live
festivals and events around the country as well as giving masterclasses to
several youth choirs and appearing in television and radio studios.
